That makes the i3+ a good choice for people who want an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it fills up.
Both robots are good in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors, and they can easily move around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ isn't able to feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have test. It can get stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it started. The battery's life span is approximately an hour-and-a-half of continuous usage. It takes three hours to fully charge.
2. Roomba from iRobot

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. We were also awestruck by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions, move itself around the room and sweep an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is a sports car in a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans and buses. It's powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in a majority of homes, but also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.
The V10 is powered by a 7-cell, energy-dense lithium-ion battery which produces fade-free power for 60 minutes. The main issue with the V10 is its limited run time. As CR's tests have shown, its advertising claims of up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. In our tests of the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors, and also handled dog hair (on carpet) quite well, cleaning up 86% of it. It did not do well in avoiding taller items such as cords or socks. This was disappointing. It's also a little more expensive than the other models we've tested which could be a deal-breaker for some buyers.
